01 / OVERVIEW

Overview

Restaurant Base is internal infrastructure created by FONTESIO to build restaurant websites on a solid technical foundation rather than a fixed visual template. It centralizes architecture, integrations, providers, responsive behavior, accessibility, SEO, functional components, and Meniva connectivity while each implementation defines its own identity, content, and experience. Casa Brasa is a demonstration implementation showing one possible visual direction; it is not a real client.

PROBLEM / 02

The challenge

Many restaurants operate with an improvised digital presence: PDF menus, disorganized links, duplicated information, slow or nonexistent websites, and unclear content update flows. That slows down pre-sales, complicates the customer experience, and forces too much work to be rebuilt for every new project.

OBJECTIVE / 03

The objective

Build modular infrastructure that makes restaurant websites faster and more consistent to deliver without limiting the identity, content, menu, CTAs, or structure each business needs.

SOLUTION / 04

The solution

FONTESIO developed internal restaurant infrastructure that separates the technical foundation from the visual direction. Architecture, integrations, accessibility, SEO, responsive behavior, and functional components remain ready, while branding, composition, and content are designed for each implementation. Menus can use manual data, PDFs, external links, or a Meniva integration.

Core features

  • Modular architecture for restaurant web experiences.
  • Conversion-focused visual hero.
  • Clear, adaptable navigation.
  • A distinct visual identity for each implementation.
  • Functional modules configured around each business.
  • Responsive design.
  • Mobile-first experience.
  • Menu CTA.
  • WhatsApp CTA.
  • Reservation or contact CTA.
  • Configurable menu.
  • Architecture prepared for multiple menu sources.
  • Compatibility with Meniva integration.
  • Support for restaurant-specific demo implementations.
  • Gallery, story, contact, and location sections.
  • Infrastructure designed to speed up pre-sales and delivery without repeating the visual identity.
  • Prepared for Spanish and English.
  • Focused on performance and visual clarity.

Experience decisions

  • Separate identity, contact, location, modules, menu, and theme through typed configuration so each implementation can have its own direction without rebuilding the technical architecture.
  • Normalize different menu sources so the interface does not depend on Meniva-specific data shapes.
  • Prioritize the menu, WhatsApp, hours, and location on mobile so the main actions remain easy to reach.
